I am recruiting 1–2 self-motivated PhD students. If you are interested in working with me, please email me your CV, (unofficial) transcript, and a short description of your research interests.

About Me

My research focuses on developing scalable algorithms for large-scale optimization in transportation and logistics. I am also broadly interested in decision making under uncertainty, especially for matching markets and e-commerce platforms.

I received my Ph.D. in Operations Research from Georgia Tech, where I was fortunate to work with Prof. Alejandro Toriello. I spent two summers interning at Amazon, on the middle mile planning and routing optimization science team (mmPros) and on the inbound placement team, and a summer at UC Berkeley working on dynamic matching problems with Prof. Chiwei Yan. Prior to Georgia Tech, I received my B.S. and M.S. in Industrial and Management Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), where I worked on scheduling and transportation problems in manufacturing and healthcare.
